About the Role: Business Technology Engineer
The Internal Operations team is the backbone of Voicebrook’s fully remote, daily business functions, ensuring that our internal systems, processes, and resources run efficiently and effectively. This team is responsible for supporting key operational areas such as IT infrastructure, contracting, systems administration, financial operations, procurement, and compliance. By maintaining reliable technology environments, managing critical internal tools, and overseeing budgeting and reporting, Internal Operations enables all departments to perform at their best. They work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, implement operational efficiencies, and support the overall health and scalability of the organization.
The Business Technology Engineer at Voicebrook is a fully remote role focused on advancing our adoption of AI products and tools while ensuring the security and integrity of the systems they touch, an essential part of our business operations. This position combines deep technical skills with a strong understanding of business processes and cross-departmental needs. You’ll help evaluate and integrate AI-driven solutions, enforce security protocols and best practices, and support and enhance our Salesforce instance to improve efficiency and collaboration across the company. Success in this role requires AI and security expertise alongside Salesforce administration experience, a problem-solving mindset, business acumen, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
What You’ll Do
AI Products & Security
- Evaluate, implement, and support AI products and tools that improve business operations and decision-making
- Apply and enforce security protocols and best practices across systems, data, and integrations
- Administer and customize Salesforce—including custom objects, workflows, validations, and formulas—and provide ongoing maintenance, testing, and support
- Participate in reviews and testing activities throughout the implementation lifecycle
Integration & Automation
- Identify and implement automation opportunities that enhance business operations
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications (MCP Servers)
- Improve system stability and functionality through continuous improvement initiatives
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work cross-functionally to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Document user stories, business processes, workflows, and wireframes to support development efforts
- Collaborate with team members, adhering to team architecture standards
- Thought leadership in the technology space, especially around AI technologies, with a strong desire for coaching others, raising the technical floor of the organization
System Support & Problem Solving
- Provide user support and troubleshoot issues in a remote/multi-location environment
- Monitor system performance and resolve critical issues with urgency and ownership
- Proactively assess risks and recommend system enhancements or preventive measures
- Good instincts for people, recognizing that technical support must go hand-in-hand with communications skills, empathy and relationship building
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience with AI products and tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, AI-assisted workflows, or machine learning–enabled applications), including evaluating, implementing, and supporting them in a business environment
- Strong working knowledge of security protocols and best practices (e.g., access controls, data protection, authentication, and compliance considerations) and the ability to apply them across systems and integrations
- Salesforce administration experience, including platform configuration, workflows, and supporting integrations with external applications; similar CRM or business-platform administration experience is acceptable
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a significant technical focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of business processes in service-based organizations
- NetSuite experience (or comparable ERP experience) is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with administration of Gainsight, GSuite, LastPass, and GoTo Resolve

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
