Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative R&D Chemist specializing in Personal Care and Over-the-Counter (OTC) products to join our dedicated research and development team. Responsibilities

• Lead formulation development for personal care and OTC products, utilizing principles of organic chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
• Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to ISO 22716 standards, and FDA regulations for OTC products.
• Collaborate with process engineering and compounding to scale formulations from laboratory prototypes to commercial production while maintaining quality control standards.
• Conduct comprehensive testing to verify product safety, stability, and compliance with regulatory specifications.

Experience

• Proven laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical, personal care, or OTC industry.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and regulatory frameworks including FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and ISO 22716 standards.
• Knowledge of personal care ingredients and formulations. Ability to create new formulations, as well as replicate formulations as part of tech transfer or reverse engineering projects.
• Experience working within an industrial laboratory environment that emphasizes safety, precision, and compliance in line with standards. Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
