Program Manager
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $90 to $110/hour
Hours: 40+ hours per week with potential overtime

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development, construction, and transition to operations of a large energy infrastructure project. This individual will be responsible for overall project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and contractor oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all phases of project development and execution.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, procurement, construction, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor performance, contract administration, procurement activities, and RFP processes.
• Develop and deliver project status updates, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications.
• Support project governance reviews and organizational change management efforts.
• Ensure successful project turnover, operational readiness, and project closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP Certification required.
• 10+ years of experience managing large capital projects or programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing LNG, power generation, energy infrastructure, or other large industrial construction projects.
• Strong background in EPC coordination, contract management, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading large-scale energy, utility, industrial, or infrastructure projects from development through commissioning and operational turnover.
