Summary
The Kitchen Bistro in Denver is a community gathering spot featuring a seasonal menu and shared plates set in a modern, rustic atmosphere. The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the team and helping to create and maintain an exciting, inviting, and progressive environment. This person should be a high-energy, outgoing individual who will help to foster connections with friends, family, and the community through service, food, and drink. Responsibilities
Service aspects include guest relations, and the ability to perform objectives in a timely and efficient manner with a focus on quality, while always maintaining an environment of hospitality.
Keen attention to detail; fully engaged in serving the team and striving to provide a superior level of service; model and promote teamwork.
Desire to support a team in all capacities during service including performing skills and responsibilities of a server assistant, busser, food runner, etc. This may include greeting tables, providing water, and coordinating the timing and delivery of each course for each table.
Assist with side work and proper opening and closing of the restaurant.
Exemplify hospitality and conscientiousness in all interactions with guests, vendors, and the community.

Qualifications

Working Conditions
Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level.
Working with hot, cold, and potentially hazardous equipment as well as operating office equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to walk.
May be required to work in very warm or cold conditions for an extended period of time.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, and crouch.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
