AI Product Engineer (LLM, React & Cloud Engineering)Position Overview

Location: Remote (U.S. based ONLY - Prefer Pacific Northwest)

Role:

Incluud is seeking an AI Product Engineer to help design, build, and deploy the next generation of AI-powered SaaS products. This role combines software engineering, AI development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices to create scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that deliver real business value.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to build AI-driven capabilities using Large Language Models (LLMs), modern cloud technologies, and responsive web applications. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working across the entire technology stack—from user interface development to backend APIs, AI integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI Product Development

• Design and build AI-powered features using Large Language Models (Claude, Claude Design, GPT, or similar technologies).
• Develop workflows that leverage AI for document analysis, compliance, loyalty programs, recommendations, data summarization, and business automation.
• Implement prompt engineering, context management, and output validation techniques.
• Evaluate AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and reliability while minimizing hallucinations and incorrect responses.
• Create guardrails, validation layers, and feedback mechanisms to improve AI performance.

Front-End Development (React)

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React.
• Build intuitive user interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and AI services.
• Collaborate with product teams to rapidly prototype and deliver new features.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.

Software Engineering

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs that connect AI services, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack, including UI, APIs, AI services, and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure

• Deploy and manage applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using modern monitoring and logging platforms.

Security & Identity

• Support secure multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Implement and maintain identity and access management solutions using OAuth, SSO, Auth0, Azure AD, or similar technologies.
• Ensure compliance-conscious design aligned with SOC 2, GDPR, and security best practices.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.

Required QualificationsTechnical Experience

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, C#, Java, Go, or similar.
• Experience building and deploying production software applications.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM services into real-world applications.

AI & LLM Experience

• Experience using Claude, GPT, or similar AI platforms.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI workflow design.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into software products.
• Familiarity with AI output validation and quality assurance practices.

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of networking, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure fundamentals.

Identity & Security

• Exposure to OAuth, SSO, RBAC, and identity management systems.
• Understanding of secure application design principles.
• Familiarity with SaaS multi-tenant architecture concepts.

Professional Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with analytics, reporting, or business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle databases.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, or infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience working with retail, loyalty, customer engagement, or compliance-focused systems.
• Startup or early-stage company experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
