Job Summary
Middle Market Operating Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Technology Analyst to join our growing remote team. This role serves as a critical bridge between business operations and technology, helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and implement innovative digital solutions.

You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to evaluate business needs, optimize systems, support technology initiatives, and contribute to strategic digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for operational improvement and automation.
* Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable project plans.
* Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, developers, and external vendors to design and implement technology solutions.
* Evaluate current software platforms and recommend enhancements to improve productivity, scalability, and performance.
* Support cloud-based infrastructure and enterprise applications across AWS, Azure, and other business-critical platforms.
* Develop and maintain system integrations using APIs and automation tools to streamline business operations.
* Assist with software implementation projects, system upgrades, testing, deployment, and user adoption initiatives.
* Create detailed documentation including process flows, technical specifications, user guides, and project reports.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.
* Participate in Agile project teams and contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Support DevOps and CI/CD initiatives to improve deployment reliability and software delivery processes.
* Conduct data analysis and generate reports that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
* Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, cybersecurity best practices, and digital transformation strategies.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Technology Consulting, Systems Analysis, IT Operations, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of business processes, system analysis, and technology-driven problem-solving.
* Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and enterprise software applications.
* Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
* Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar technologies.
* Understanding of Agile methodologies, project management principles, and SDLC best practices.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
* Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other business intelligence tools.
* Experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP, CRM, or workflow automation systems.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT governance frameworks.
* Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or similar credentials.
