About the Role
Alibaba Cloud’s Global Key Accounts team is hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to drive enterprise cloud revenue and strategic AI partnerships in the US market. Located in our Sunnyvale office, this role focuses on selling complex cloud infrastructure and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to Fortune 500 enterprise clients across high-growth verticals (Technology, Media, Gaming, Manufacturing, and Hospitality).
Benefits & Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $156,000 - $255,600 / year (Final pay determined by location, job-related knowledge, and experience).

Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Sales Pipeline: Prospect, qualify, and close high-value cloud opportunities within designated Key Accounts.
- C-Suite Engagement: Independently navigate complex corporate hierarchies to map out decision-makers and build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and VPs.
- AI Solution Delivery: Educate enterprise clients on the ROI and business value of AI-native architectures and our Tongyi/Qwen Model suites.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with internal Solution Architects and product engineering teams to design customized cloud strategies and ensure successful post-implementation delivery.
- Market Analysis: Monitor client business plans, IT budgets, and technology landscapes to proactively introduce scalable sales frameworks.
Required Qualifications & Screening Criteria

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in cloud computing sales, SaaS enterprise software, or advanced technology business development.
- Enterprise Scaling: Proven track record of scaling technology sales strategies specifically for Fortune 500 or large-scale enterprise clients.
- Cloud Technical Fluency: Direct experience guiding clients through complex, large-scale cloud migrations and tech stack modernization.
- Project Leadership: 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional project teams or multi-departmental tech initiatives.
- Education/Communication: Exceptional ability to independently pitch both high-level business solutions and foundational technical cloud architecture concepts to executive teams.
Pay: $156,000.00 - $255,600.00 per year
