Our IT Administrator provides direct support to users across the organization. This includes helping set up hardware and software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software, and helping users access shared drives and devices. ERP experience-DMSI Agility experience or Syspro experience a plus. Ability to travel and work varying schedules will be a part of this role.
About the Position
IT operations including computer operations, technical support, systems analysis, and training employees how to use systems. Coordinates Information Technology activities for multiple locations with a total employee headcount of 130 employees. May also direct database management, ERP software related needs throughout the organization. Establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures. Ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs. Develops and interprets organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Works with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to determine IT needs and system requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Experience with ERP systems-Agility or Syspro
- Assists in database management, telecommunications, IS training and ERP software
- Prioritize incidents and service requests.
- Install and configure desktop, laptop, and telephone equipment in accordance with firm defined installation templates or guidelines
- Provide on-site technical assistance, including computer setup and breakdown, office moves, troubleshooting of printer, scanner, mobile devices and other technology equipment support, as needed
- Enter data into and manage inventory databases to track information pertaining to hardware and software moves, adds/changes. Tracks all Change Forms relating to new hires, departures, support and name changes
- Setup and maintenance of conference room audiovisual equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity for internal and external customers
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs of hardware and software Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as determined.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components throughout various IT infrastructure devices.
- IT firewall and switch administration and maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Ensuring company safety and security standards are met.
- Some IT and server solution design and architecture.
- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity
- Purchase necessary equipment
- Manage backup, security and user help systems
- Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements
- Assign and review the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers
- Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies
Position Requirements
- 5+ years in ERP/Software experience
- 5+ years experience in setting up security cameras, laptops, and other IT systems
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of best practices for IT infrastructure and service management.
- Must be proficient in the MS Office 365 Suite of software.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
