One Team. Every System. Every Day.
TriplePoint MEP runs on a portfolio of ERP and business applications that touch every corner of its brands—from field service billing and construction job cost to corporate finance and HR. We’re looking for an ERP Support Analyst who thrives in breadth: someone who can move fluidly across platforms, triage intelligently, and become the person the whole enterprise calls when something’s broken or doesn’t make sense.
Job Title: ERP Support Analyst
Reports To: Director of Enterprise Applications and Business Intelligence
Location: Richmond, VA (On-site preferred; remote considered for an exceptional candidate)
Type: Full-Time
Scope: TriplePoint MEP — Enterprise-Wide
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll serve as the enterprise’s first-responder for ERP and business application issues—owning the support queue, routing escalations with context, and building the documentation that keeps the whole team from answering the same questions twice.
- Own T1 and T2 support across TriplePoint’s ERP application portfolio: ComputerEase (construction payroll & job cost), Vista by Viewpoint (construction accounting), and Sage Intacct (corporate finance).
- Triage incoming tickets in JIRA—categorize by application and severity, resolve what you can, escalate with full context what you can’t, and follow through to closure.
- Become the go-to for user access management, role configuration, and basic system settings across all supported platforms.
- Write and maintain end-user documentation, training materials, and process SOPs that reduce repeat ticket volume over time.
- Partner with application-specific owners (IFS Architect, Finance leads, Operations managers) to understand root causes and surface patterns in recurring issues.
- Support onboarding for new employees across TriplePoint brands—system access, training coordination, and initial orientation on ERP workflows.
- Assist with UAT during upgrades, patches, and new module rollouts across the application portfolio.
- Track vendor support cases for each platform and ensure SLAs are being met—escalate when they’re not.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Users across TriplePoint brands know your name because you resolved their issue fast and explained what happened.
- Ticket backlog is current, prioritized, and actioned—no stale issues sitting unassigned.
- You’ve built a working knowledge of at least three of the four core ERP platforms within your first 90 days.
- Repeat ticket volume on common issues drops because your documentation actually gets used.
- Upgrade and patch cycles include your UAT contributions, reducing regression surprises in production.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years of ERP support experience across one or more of the following platforms: IFS, ComputerEase, Vista by Viewpoint, Sage Intacct, or comparable construction/field service ERP systems.
- Breadth over depth is the profile—you don’t need to be a deep specialist in every platform, but you need to be a fast learner who gets comfortable quickly in new systems.
- Proficiency with JIRA or comparable ticketing/issue management platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of construction or MEP business workflows: job costing, WIP reporting, subcontractor billing, field service dispatch, payroll, or AP/AR processing.
- Excellent written communication skills—your documentation is clear, structured, and written for the person who needs it, not for you.
- Comfortable engaging end users across all levels of technical sophistication, from field foremen to finance directors.
- Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-brand business environments is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent demonstrated experience will be considered.
