Position Summary

US Tiger Securities, Inc. is seeking a motivated and technically curious Trading Desk Support Intern to join our Low Touch electronic trading environment. This is a hands-on internship where you will gain exposure to real-time order flow, trading system operations, and cross-functional collaboration with technology, compliance, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time electronic order flow across various markets and flag anomalies or exceptions for review.

• Assist with diagnosing and escalating trading-related issues to minimize order impact and execution delays.

• Support start-of-day (SOD) and end-of-day (EOD) health checks to verify readiness of trading systems.

• Help track and document trade anomalies, rejected orders, and system events in line with team procedures.

• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to understand application workflows and support daily trading activity.

• Assist with new client onboarding tasks and session monitoring under team guidance.

• Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including programming proficiency (Python, Java, or similar) and comfort working with data and systems.

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is required, as the role may involve communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or Chinese-language documentation.

• Some background or coursework in finance, financial markets, or trading is required.

• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred:

• Basic familiarity with equity or options markets and the trade lifecycle.

• Exposure to scripting, automation, or data analysis tools.

• Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools is a plus.

• Any prior internship or project experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.

Pay: $3,500.00 per month
