We are looking for a technically driven Project Engineer who enjoys engineering challenges, customer interaction, and hands-on project execution in fast-paced industrial environments.
This is not a traditional desk engineering role. You will work directly with advanced inspection technology, high-speed packaging lines, and real-world manufacturing applications while collaborating with customers and engineering teams internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer requirements, specifications, and production applications to develop optimized technical solutions
- Create technical proposals, layouts, integration concepts, and performance specifications
- Support integration of HEUFT systems into new and existing production lines
- Coordinate technical activities with customers, sales teams, service teams, and engineering counterparts in Germany
- Assist with application testing, project planning, troubleshooting, and startup support
- Participate in FATs, customer meetings, site evaluations, and technical project reviews
- Support customers in solving complex manufacturing and quality assurance challenges
- Represent HEUFT USA at trade shows and industry events when required

Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in (Electrical / Mechanical) Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics
- Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Interest in industrial automation, manufacturing systems, and packaging technology
- Experience with AutoCAD, controls, packaging equipment, or inspection systems is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally (~10% / year) to customer sites and training locations
