inStorify — Summer Internship (Full-Time)

Independent brands and local retailers deserve tools that actually compete — and we're the ones building them. This summer, we're bringing on someone who wants to be in the room where it happens, not watching from the outside.
What this is
A full-time summer internship where you'll work directly with the CEO on the things that actually move the needle. Marketing, business development, go-to-market strategy, operations — you'll rotate through all of it, pick up context fast, and be expected to contribute from week one. No ramp-up busywork. No filler projects. Just real work with real stakes.
What you'll be doing
You'll help design and run marketing campaigns, create content that earns attention, and grow our social presence with intention. On the business development side, you'll research and reach out to potential retail partners, support the pitch process, and help onboard the ones we close. You'll get to trade shows and industry events to represent what we're building.
Strategically, you'll sit alongside the CEO as we sharpen our go-to-market approach — researching how competitors are positioned, identifying the right customer segments, and building out launch plans for new features and pilots. On the operations side, you'll spot what's slowing us down and fix it, track what's working across campaigns and outreach, and collaborate with teams across the company to keep everything aligned.
Who fits here
You're the kind of person who reads about retail tech because you're actually interested in it, not because someone told you to. You write well, think clearly under pressure, and can move between a creative brief and a data spreadsheet without losing your footing. You're proactive — you don't wait to be told what to do next. Currently in a BA or MA program, preferably studying Marketing, Business, or Strategy. If you've used CRM or marketing tools before, great. If not, we'll figure it out.
