Duties

• Step into classrooms promptly to deliver prepared lessons aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, and social studies.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special education requirements or working with individuals with autism.
• Engage students through interactive activities, encouraging participation and fostering a love of learning.
• Monitor student behavior and provide positive guidance to promote focus and cooperation throughout lessons.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions between classes and communicate any student needs or concerns clearly.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and report on student progress as required by school policies.

Qualifications

• Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education, preschool, or elementary settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience working with children of varying ages, including those with special needs or in private school environments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and literacy education methods such as Montessori or childhood development principles.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
