Apex Bulk Commodities is the largest, most diverse bulk transportation company in the western United States. The dynamics of our market continually change, challenging our goal of being "Driven to Perform". We are a company that relies on old and new methods of serving our customer's needs.
Old Methods:
Response to our customer needs and the development and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships.
Availability to our customers the varied storage and movement equipment within our resources which provide our customers greater flexibility.
New Methods:
Implementation and utilization of state-of-the-art communications, hardware and software technologies that allow a more effective interface with the marketplace.
Power equipment that utilizes the most up-to-date technology available.
The commodities we haul include liquids, chemicals and construction materials. The diversity of these products allows our company the ability to provide interest and challenge for employees, as they carry out their daily tasks. With activities taking place throughout the continuous 48 United States and Canada, our company offers wide coverage, although the majority of work is within California and Nevada. Our dispatch operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. New employees begin their adventure at Apex with attendance at an in-house state-of-the-art training school. The training includes the use of Apex's communication technology (satellite generated OmniTracs units), proper completion of driver paperwork, and education on safe driving including the regulatory requirements of the job.
