Founded in 2015 by Dr. Barry Jacobson, a highly respected pediatric dentist with nearly 30 years of clinical experience, Pediatric Dental Solutions—also known as PDS Management Services—has grown into a leading provider of pediatric dental care across the New York and New Jersey region. What began as a single practice in Queens, New York, has evolved into a thriving network of specialized dental offices committed to making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
Dr. Jacobson’s vision for PDS was born out of a desire to improve access to high-quality dental care for children in underserved areas. His original practice in Queens, which remains an integral part of the organization, laid the foundation for a model of care that prioritizes clinical excellence, compassionate service, and community outreach. Under his leadership, PDS has expanded significantly, now operating twelve state-of-the-art pediatric dental offices throughout New York, along with two additional offices in New Jersey. The company’s corporate headquarters are based in Suffern, NY, where a dedicated administrative and support team works to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency across all locations.
All PDS-affiliated offices specialize in pediatric dentistry, delivering comprehensive oral healthcare to infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special healthcare needs. In addition to pediatric dental care, the majority of our locations also offer integrated orthodontic services, allowing families to receive continuity of care in a single, child-friendly environment. Our clinical teams are composed of board-certified pediatric dentists and orthodontists, hygienists, and dental assistants who are not only skilled professionals but also passionate advocates for children’s health and well-being.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to closing the gap in access to care. Many of the communities we serve face significant barriers to dental services due to economic, geographic, or social challenges. We work tirelessly to break down those barriers by offering multilingual staff, accepting a broad range of insurance plans—including Medicaid and CHIP—and designing our practices to be welcoming, inclusive, and culturally sensitive.
