      Good Company Overall - Northwell Contract Is Nice

      Pros

      Pay is decent. Overtime 1.5x pay avaliable. over 2x pay for projects lots of training (HIPPA, materials safety, etc ) 4% 401K matching, fully vested on month 1 of avliability tuition reimbursement programs avaliable they promote from within health insurance premium not most affordable, not most expensive either

      Cons

      lack of training when I started big company, can be bureaucratic and slow in decision making and implementation some project manager have no IT experience and/or knowledge. Hard to communicate needs and technical issues with project managers and/or upper non-IT management Hospital work is stressful during pandemic

      Pros

      Very streamlined procedures. Very "plug and play" as far as rules and regulations.

      Cons

      Not very strict on the hospitals they are contracted to about tech. We have virtually no standards when it comes to purchases

      Pros

      Great company to work for. Great benefits. Excellent PTO time. Growing company in the medical field. Work from option.

      Cons

      They do not allow us to carry over our PTO days any longer. Health benefits are getting expensive. Not a good enough company match on 401K.
