Pros

Fascinating projects. Plenty of opportunities for cross team collaboration. Travel opportunities for conferences and various other training events. Good compensation.

Cons

Lack of local HR, many HR responsibilities (recruitment, internal training management, conflict resolution, ...) get handled by developers' goodwill. Salaries vary a lot even within the same level.

Pros

Good work-life balance and positive culture. Flexible work schedule

Cons

Salary is not competitive enough, increase is minimal. Highly visible projects tend to receive more attention and acknowledgment, which can unintentionally create an imbalance. Visible projects often get more recognition, while equally challenging work on less visible projects may be overlooked.
