Toxic leadership and culture

Pros

Most colleagues are very kind and hard-working people. You will learn a lot.

Cons

Toxic culture with no leadership accountability for issues. Consistently experienced and witnessed tokenization and gaslighting. HR is nonexistent along with procedures and psychological safety to support employees when issues come up. CEO speaks of caring for the community, equity, inclusion, and diversity but it is very performative as there is hardly any buy-in across the company or prioritization to make any real changes internally. Lower-level employees consistently overloaded with responsibilities outside of job description without proper compensation to make up for lack of staffing since they are struggling with retaining employees.

Pros

Fast growing strategy consulting firm Super interesting clients and projects. The company works with some of the best organizations and for the most part finds really great leaders Pretty good colleagues who for the most part love learning, problem solving and helping everyone get better Remote company which is awesome. I used to have to travel all the time for this kind of work

Cons

Processes are mostly google sheets. More structure would be nice Occasionally long days or weekend work when the kind is in a pinch
