Pros
I’ve been working at the District a little over three years as an analyst, and I can honestly say it’s been a great experience. The Human Resources department is full of fantastic people who genuinely care about the District and the customer-owners we serve.
Leadership here—both in HR and across the District—strive to provide pathways for career growth. They actively encourage you to pursue training, certifications, or other development opportunities to help you build your skillset and move toward your career goals.
The benefits package is one of the best I’ve seen, with options that cost employees nothing, and the pay is very competitive. The District routinely reviews the market to ensure compensation stays aligned with the market.
One thing I really appreciate is how approachable the senior management team and the general manager are. They make a real effort to create a positive culture and ensure this is a great place to work.
If you’re looking for stability, growth opportunities, and a workplace where people genuinely care about what they do, I’d highly recommend the District.
Cons
Some systems are a bit outdated, but the District is actively taking steps to upgrade and ensure employees have the tools needed to better serve our customer-owners.
