      Pros

      This is a great org with a stable foundation of over 100 years. Based out of Japan, and built upon the Japanese culture of employment loyalty and commitment, the authenticity of the leadership shows through from day 1.

      Cons

      They are growing exponentially in the U.S. but still operate as a mom and pop shop. As a newer employee, as I am trying to acclimate to my new company, and I ask why things are done the way they are - no one can answer that question. I just get a lot of “I dunno!” In response. There doesn’t seem to be any real sense of ownership or empowerment among employees… at least in the department I work in. Decisions seem to only be made at the top echelons of the company, which slows productivity and progress.
