Pros

If you want to learn about LTL then this is place for you, the employees at the terminals are great to work with, obviously you will have some bad eggs here and there but there are alot of great people in this company. Vast amounts of knowledge to gain here.

Cons

Well where to start, the company is out of touch with 2023, lacking in technology and equipment but will be the first to post on Facebook about an electric van ......, unless you are at the corporate terminal you will be left with no support and treated like crap. The ceo I think is the right one, but his team are in the twighlight years of their careers and honestly are clueless, self centered and honestly not intelligent enough to do the jobs they're in. Pay is lower than it should be, they want you to work ridiculous amounts of hours and not pay for it. Big big favoritism here, lots of discrimination and employment laws violated, the individuals that are in hr are all under qualified, trust ne when I say this if you have a family and a brain stay away, the company is only in operation because they are owned by Pitt Ohio. Also if you get injured here, they'll fire you the first chance they get.

Pros

I really can't think of any. The company lives up to it's reputation of being a terrible employer, and then some.

Cons

Employees treated like garbage No overtime pay until 50 hours Little to no building maintenance Management refuses to address known issues Trucks are all filthy, and are in disrepair Everyone from lower management up seems to be completely incapable of being honest about anything

Pros

Having full reign of my operation? If that counts? Literally nothing else positive that any other normal job couldn’t offer.

Cons

Terrible hours. I was salary, and I had some DOCK WORKERS making as much, or more than me purely because they worked so many hours. Also, what kinda PTO and insurance joke is this place trying to run? I’ve worked many high tier management jobs, and worked many hours, but this jobs literally made me depressed. I have NEVER felt more suicidal than when I worked here. I was eventually fired because I didn’t “improve enough.” My argument to that was that my numbers looked better than anyone else in my regional manager’s territory, and I had PROOF of that. I think they canned me really because I was young, and too nice to my dock workers. I am a people manager, not a tyrant/military style manager. Everyone else there was, and they hated me because of it. It’s whatever, because I believe things happen for a reason; mainly due to the fact that I realized how truly depressed I was working there once I was let go. I was stuck in the cycle of wake up at 3pm, Drive an hour in rush hour traffic, work until 3-5am, go home, eat something (maybe), sleep, and then wake up and do it again. All. Week. What a joke. Stay away.
