Your experience will differ with who you work for and what department. Salaries are low or not what they should be for amount of work. They’re stuck in 2005 or something. Negotiate your salary! Handling of Covid was terrible. You could be very overworked and they’ll just wait to see how hard they can push you until they do something. PTO is terrible. Just terrible. It’s that way for a reason. Think about it. They’ll drag you into monthly departmental meetings to let you know you’re not doing too well with utilization rate while providing free lunch from the overhead funds you help fund.
