Pros

None, period. I’ve been in the insurance and financial services industry for over 25 years. Bloom is the most unethical company I’ve ever worked for.

Cons

Unethical hiring practices, and misrepresent to clients and Supervisors that they will be working with senior Agents that are actually brand new to Medicare and have no experience selling Medicare plans. Sharing user names and passwords to access CMS government website to obtain personally identifiable information (PII) such as Medicare IDs, Dates of Birth, Home Addresses of clients in a non secure environment with thousands of these records not disposed of after use. HUGE information security risk. Warning, if you are new to Medicare, work for a company that puts a priority on training and testing your knowledge. This form of insurance is highly regulated by the government, and you need to understand the specific rules and regulations involved in enrolling someone in these plans. You can lose your license you worked so hard for, and worse, you can severely impact someone’s life leaving them without the healthcare services they so desperately need. This company is not worth your time or soul, stay away.

Pros

The only good thing is it was remote and they provided equipment.

Cons

They pay unlivable wages, I made $14 an hour and was expected to take on the responsibilities on multiple projects especially after each layoff. There is no job security so you feel like you have to keep taking more and more work to keep your job. Felt like we were made to go unnecessarily hard on agents when giving quality reviews with the ridiculous expectations that were put on them. Even though it is remote you will feel the micromanagement and need to always be faster and faster and faster.
