Pros
Good benefits, but expect less compensation as a result
Cons
Was intimidated and threatened by a senior member of my team as part of the new hire hazing process. I brought this up to my manager and she offered no sympathy and dismissed it, and HR told me that it would be more trouble to report it than it was worth. I did not receive any training or mentorship, and I did not have a single career development conversation the entire year and half I was there. My manager would constantly cancel our 1:1s and then ask me for an update on teams on my progress. The group I was in acted like a sorority, and would spend hours talking to each other instead of working and then complain about how other groups are not pulling their weight. Lilly is trying to move away from working from home as much as possible and is expecting a full return to office despite the feedback they’ve received from their employees. Most senior management works from home almost full time while those lower on the tier have to come into the office 5 days a week. Oh, super fun, I was told I would be on call when I showed up and being on call was NOT in the job description. My stress levels have significantly decreased since I left and my career (and salary) have already grown so much since my departure. BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY!
