Pros
There continues to be open dialogue with executive management regarding my professional goals and where I would like to grow my career. I am given the opportunity to provide input on the type of projects and responsibilities I would like to take on. Also, as an added bonus, every employee receives an allowance to use towards professional development!
Cons
To be expected at a start-up, sometimes responsibilities can be broad. With that being said, at times, this can provide opportunities to gain experience in areas that you may not otherwise be able to in a more traditional roles.
