Pros
Base level coworkers are great, bases are generally feel like family.
Cons
Long hours, lots of travel, low pay, no work life balance, lack respect and empathy, no logical plan to execute. Lots of sitting around a table bantering but not making progress. Company has changed names a ton of times, they are running from their helicopter crashes and bad business practices. If you know anything about Air Methods, this is the exact same. Horrendous, pompous leadership, UNEDUCATED MEDICAL leaders doing the job of what REAL business leaders should be doing. Quit promoting clinical leaders who don't have BASIC business sense and start promoting people with appropriate credentials, not medical credentials. Keep the clinical leaders on the clinical side, business leaders on the business side. Departments don't talk, communication is sparse, no top to bottom understanding of the company goals. You'll be disrespected and yelled at constantly by "clinical" leaders who shouldn't be in a leadership role at all. Air medical is a rapidly declining industry. After this virus, I'd anticipate numerous base closures and pay cuts.
