Pros
Advancement opportunity. You get to meet some good people from time to time.
Cons
No support from upper management. Harps on managers about what they are supposed to do, but when you do it and require assistance from corporate then it's not there, such as loss prevention, human resources and accounts payable. It should not take 6 months to get the company to start an investigation on employee theft when you sent them video evidence from the beginning. You're on your own when it comes to terminating an employee even though they tell you that you must get it approved through HR. They will wait a month before responding to your email requesting support for termination and ask what the status is if you even get that much. Also you must perform your managerial duties while working the front desk every shift. If you get 10 minutes undisturbed on a slow shift then consider yourself lucky.
