Over compensated C Suite that does not come down from the swirling clouds that they dwell in - Physician Mass General Brigham Employee Review

Pros

Fantastic people around you. Very smart yet humble, exceedingly accomplished-but that might change if MGB does not work on retention. Still living in past glory but glory is fading with rebranding!

Cons

Tone Deaf over paid C Suite that is answerable to neither shareholders (because it's a Non Profit) nor employees, nor patients. The C SUITE Enjoys the benefits of being a "Corporate" but behaves like a Plantation owner in the Antebellum South. Run by an even more clueless Board. Lots of fancy business and compassion speak in emails to employees and public. But pay themselves excessively and act with a sense of entitlement like the Robber Barons of the early 19th century. Need a huge attitudinal change if the place is going to thrive otherwise decay will set in.

Our team members are our greatest asset, and their dedication and talent drive our mission forward. We recognize the importance of fair and equitable compensation across all levels of the organization. In all compensation matters, we strive to balance fiscal responsibility with the need to invest in our teams that directly impact patient care. We value our team members and are committed to continuous improvement. We at MGB actively work on creating an inclusive workplace for all MGB employees grounded in respect. We have established regular listening opportunities via our annual or “pulse” surveys where employees can share their perspectives on what is working well and what needs to change. At MGB, feedback is invaluable, even when it is difficult to hear. We encourage you to contact your HR Business Partner directly if you have additional concerns.
