Good ol boys club mentality, insurance is almost impossible to use without constant help from hr. If you speak up about safety concerns you’re ostracized. Low pay for the job (86k salary for SPIFR???). You’re bending over backwards and being questioned by your local manager for turning down bad weather (mod icing during IFR wx).
