Pros

You will work with some of the most talented people. I formed some really strong relationships with a lot of the people I worked with on my level. You essentially end up trauma bonding with one another because of how much is expected of you. You get to work on some really cool projects and get a lot of exposure to large brands.

Cons

The Management is so horrendous it makes you question why Nestle promotes these people. The turnover has been so bad in the past 6 months people are leaving left and right because management is so cold and doesn't care about their employees. They want someone who can just "church out work". They mandated people come back into the office 3 days a week with only a few weeks notice right before summer started. My manager was so bad when I told them about how unsustainable my workload was the answer was given to me that "I'm going to have to put more work on you". Don't even get me started on career progression. It doesn't matter how hard you work it just matters who you suck up to the most. That's why they have such poor managers in places of power because it's just a face game.

Pros

You will be given a real project to work on as an intern; you are not doing intern "busy work," and the support team is beyond amazing. The program has great prestige within the company. Many of the top leaders did this program.

Cons

If you do get an offer for the Sales Development Program, the first months as a sales rep are very different than some of the analytical work you do as an intern. Still important to take that rotation seriously to grow in CPG
