Purina’s culture is genuine and puts people and pets first. It’s a business so we are expected to be productive and efficient, but every manager I’ve worked for over the years has treated me with respect and has helped me develop and grow professionally, while also recognizing that everyone’s main priority is their family/personal life. I enjoy coming to the office and interacting with colleagues and pets while doing my job.
Cons
Nestle announced some planned downsizing last year. Even though PetCare is a growth driver for Nestle, Purina is still affected by the reductions. This “con” seems to be a reality for almost every big employer these days.
