Competitive salaries, encouraged work life balance, professional development, and a great culture that makes "Big" feel personal and family friendly.
Cons
Due to a risk conscious culture, the company can be slow to move ideas through, but this is expected given its scale.

Thanks for sharing this review with us! We agree that sometimes we need to take risks to move forward. We're glad to hear that you've experienced so many of the positives Purina has to offer, and hope you'll continue to see improvement in other areas as well. Please continue to share your feedback with us, your HR contact, and/or your manager.
Purina’s culture is genuine and puts people and pets first. It’s a business so we are expected to be productive and efficient, but every manager I’ve worked for over the years has treated me with respect and has helped me develop and grow professionally, while also recognizing that everyone’s main priority is their family/personal life. I enjoy coming to the office and interacting with colleagues and pets while doing my job.
Cons
Nestle announced some planned downsizing last year. Even though PetCare is a growth driver for Nestle, Purina is still affected by the reductions. This “con” seems to be a reality for almost every big employer these days.
