Pros
There's really not too many Pros to this place. If you're good and you can sell, you don't have a cap on your commission, but you'll probably be working 60+ hours a week. Feel lucky if you have a competent manager and get decent training and don't have to worry about your money being stolen from you. More than likely you'll end up with an inexperienced manager who has an equally incompetent regional manager and you won't be trained or have conflicting training styles and will have to worry about every customer you work with working with someone else and you losing money. The environment and attitude is be very aggressive and sell everyone the moment they walk in the door, because if you don't , someone else will. No matter how much work you put it in, someone can put five minutes in and claim all of your money.
Cons
Read through the reviews of former and current employees on GlassDoor and Indeed. They've padded a lot of the reviews on GlassDoor by bribing corporate employees and managers to give '5 Star' reviews, so take all of them with a grain of salt. Pay close attention to the one's that talk about poor and uncaring managers and anything to do with commission disputes or losing money (ignore the one's that complain about cleaning duties, it's part of the job description) Do you really want to work for a company that you have to worry about whether or not you're going to get the proper training to do the job they hired you for? Do you want to work for a manager that was promoted because they excelled in sales, but may or may not have shown any aptitude towards being a team leader? Do you want to work in an aggressive sales environment that is, in some ways, more aggressive that the worst used car lot?
