Pros
While working at Vocal I worked on cool projects and enjoyed my time working with the people there. You have to put the work in to learn when starting, and resources are provided to you for this such as books or other people to ask questions to. After the initial learning period the work becomes very rewarding. It is definitely an environment that encourages learning through a variety of methods. I worked on a variety of different projects where I was given the ability to solve problems through methods of my choosing which might not be the case at other companies. If you are someone who enjoys a good challenge and likes to learn you will probably like working at Vocal.
Cons
Longer hours are expected at first as there is a lot to learn to get up to speed.
