Pros
Hybrid schedule
Diversity
Nice building
Bank wide activities
Cons
There is a noticeable lack of clear, proactive communication regarding strategy and departmental priorities. Opportunities for training, promotion, and recognition appear to be distributed inconsistently and only given to those who are "favorites". When issues were brought to human resources and upper management, there was no additional follow-up conducted that outlined a hostile work environment for several employees. Such a toxic work environment...management talks badly about employees in person and teams chats. I've never worked in such a horrible environment so much that my mental health was suffering tremendously. I am finally able to sleep again but not without the PTSD that I experienced at nbkc. Micromanaging is the worst I've ever seen. They are constantly watching you and altering your timecard when they are the ones taking advantage of time. Without accountability held for management, turnover will continue to occur. It is also concerning to see promotions be given to individuals who continue to not do their work in a timely manner. Outside examiners will eventually take note of such behavior and there will be serious consequences for the Bank.
