Pros

Bereavement leave is clutch and includes a wide range of family outside of "immediate family." Dental benefits are better than average corporate benefits. Holidays and PTO are generous.

Cons

Saddening that the company doesn't do more to retain their employees who have invested years of work supporting the company. I wanted to stay with ICF, but there was almost zero assistance/effort in finding the right placement internally to do so. The performance review cycle is tedious. No corporate/annual bonuses for the "worker bees."

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are happy to hear you had a great experience before you left ICF. Career growth timelines can vary from person to person—and it can depend on the resources they take advantage and applied to reach their goals; their position in the company; their experience; and more. This is true at any job. We want to make growth attainable and inclusive, and we don’t limit growth to simply managing more people. Growth can mean diving deeper into your specialty or moving laterally to a position where you apply a new set of skills or taking on a new challenge on a project. --- SS

Thanks for sharing your review. The diversity of our teams in backgrounds, experiences, and skills is one of the things I appreciate most about ICF too. While ICF offers many avenues to explore growth opportunities, we recognize that it can be hard to decide where to start within a large organization made up of 9,000 employees across 75+ global offices. Impact Conversations are a great way for employees to have meaningful discussions throughout the year with their managers about their career goals and aspirations. ---LL
