Pros

The food is good? That is all I can come up with.

Cons

Leadership makes decisions about things without bringing the right folks into discussions. Horrible deployment of their EHR. Some units have very mean staff that threaten colleagues and even scream and yell at eachother on the floor. If you talk about these concerns with leadership, they do not investigate but instead retaliate. Have no idea how they achieved Magnet or Baldridge. Certainly not by truly walking the walk! Patient care on some units is down right hideous. Ivory tower leadership that isn't grounded in reality.

Pros

Decent food, decent teamwork, lots of things to learn if your just starting out.

Cons

Oh boy where to start: *lots of bullying by team members *constant rule changes *NO WAY TO SWITCH SHIFTS *some shifts refuse to help each other * pay is below average *management is almost never helpful *many people last less then a year *constant harassment by nurses and doctors *they offer to help schedule around schooling but then don't. *rasies are very small and only once a year *advancement takes forever *lack of consistency with training new people * and there is more but this is the gist of it.

Pros

Many learning opportunities, the organization is expanding rapidly so there are many opportunities for growth especially if you serve in a clinical role.

Cons

A lot of politics, "other duties as assigned" keep being added on with no additional pay or recognition, need more support staff to keep up with growth, there is not always adequate work/life balance
