Pros
-My leadership team was wonderful. Active listeners, empathetic, and passionate about their work and helping our team out of any situation that got complicated. A good teaching environment my entire time here which helped me feel supported and motivated from the start.
-A great working environment for cultivating passion. I developed a passion for my role that I hadn't expected when I first started. Specifically with patient care and helping them find solutions to their needs and how this passion was met by my leadership team and co-workers.
-Learning and Innovation is extensive. Notably about the DNA NGS technology and how life-changing or transformative this test has been for patients and their experiences dealing with microbial infections,
-Work/Life Balance was a huge plus. Leadership was flexible and accommodating to our personal lives, which fostered a healthy work-life balance. Not something we get often in our careers.
-The skill development and the gained experience has been so crucial in my next steps in healthcare. This role allowed me to hone valuable skills, some being in communication, empathy, and problem-solving that I will carry on for years to come,
Cons
Communication gaps at times between different departments-caused some confusion/disrupted workflow.
