Pros

Grest bonuses even when the company misses every target, flexibility, zero accountability (pro if you're lazy)

Cons

No direction or leadership. Lots of bureaucracy. Pretend to be transparent and do gooders, but run by self-serving management looking to glorify themselves. No vision of what they want. No appetite for innovation. No ability to have impact of move your career forward no matter how hard you try. And now, mass layoffs like any other corporation.

Ridiculous political wars. Good product, bad management.

Pros

Benefits are good. 2 all hands all over the world, spending huge amounts of money without giving us clear goals and strategies. Good thing is that, you can visit some good places, like Hawaii. Nothing to do, no pressure.

Cons

Staying here wastes your time. No clear view on strategies, and planning. People are fighting. Management are trying to expand their territories by hurting people and projects. More and more talents are leaving or left. It's too late to mitigate current situation. Employees are not really doing anything, but only waiting for bringing family to join all hands(for fun only). Now, new guys are joining and/or current guys are staying because of all hands meetings, not the missions of Mozilla.

Pros

A collection of generally good people (though many need to be medicated). Generally an easy life. Cash compensation is good. Good benefits.

Cons

Wildly dysfunctional management team and CEO. Turning "corrupt" in the sense there is tremendous proselytizing of all these so-called values but the management team is highly hypocritical when it comes to exercising those values. Most of the really good technical engineers have left company. It is a lifestyle organization now. No go-getters anymore. Don't expect to get anything done. Don't come with any new ideas. The org seems to want to be a social justice warrior organization vs. trying to build great products that users want to use over other peoples products.
