      Pros

      Very relaxed but a very important job. Always had good direction and something to do. We worked hard.

      Cons

      Stress was part of the job as the jobs were important and we all want to do the right thing. When a client needed support, it was often because they were dealing with issues that required our technology to help them with (tornado, flood, fire etc). We had to jump when they called.

      Pros

      The best manager I ever had. I've worked at a few places and the manager/boss is usually not understanding, overworks you, or just doesn't care about you. This is the exact opposite. The engineering manager at OCV cares for all of his employees and will do his best to make sure you are comfortable at work. Gives plenty of engineering opportunities for students that might not have that chance. Great family working vibe. Great on a resume. This job enabled me to say to employers that "I have industry experience" before I even graduate.

      Cons

      Low pay, but it's in exchange for lenient-flexible working hours, possible remote work, fun-work time, engineering opportunities, and free food.

      Work Hard & Play Hard

      Pros

      The company continues to grow and expand over time. Work is fulfilling as we work with public safety departments to better their communication avenues with the public. As a team, we work hard and play hard together so we enjoy ourselves but deliver our products for our clients.

      Cons

      Sometimes there is so much going on that it is hard to focus on and prioritize what to do at any given time.
