Great pay and benefits in an exciting environment.

Cons

The PM on my program had no experience leading a large program supporting this customer and it was painfully obvious; nicest person in the world, but ineffective as a PM. The PM generally allowed the customer to call the shots from execution to hiring and firing. You learn a lot from both good and bad leadership - I learned a ton in this position.

Pros

One thing I love about Peraton is the community of practices (CoP) they have. I recently joined the Cloud and agile CoP. I am able to Have technical exchanges with peers and areas that I’m interested in plus I was able to earn two certifications this year with the support of the CoP!

The company mission is motivating and I work with many smart people.

Cons

The very upper management (e.g., c- suite) is disconnected from reality in terms of growth expectations, and they come across as disingenuous.
