      Great resources and local management, feels somewhat removed from upper management

      Pros

      Lots of resources. They have given me all the hardware I have asked for that is relevant to my job (software engineer). Smart people. Good local management.

      Cons

      Your bonus is tied to corporate performance, not just your BU or product line. This means no matter how well you do, you may not get anything due to some other unit screwing up. On the plus side, management told us no bonuses, but then fought for us and corporate agreed to give us at least a fraction so it wasn't a total loss.
