- You need to be intrinsically motivated (don't get into commission based IT recruiting if you aren't)
- Limited upward mobility (in terms of job responsibilities, not your paycheck): it's a smaller office where ownership is still very hands-on in the day-to-day operation.
- Not a rapid growth oriented start-up (you are not getting in on the ground floor)
- Perhaps overly reliant on a few "big fish" clients
- Don't expect 9-5 (more like 9-7 + availability after hours)
- Not much changes (both a "pro" and "con")
- High turnover (typical of the recruiting field)
