Pros

There are a few genuinely kind and smart people at RISCPoint who are doing their best despite the culture. Some client engagements were interesting, and I gained valuable experience working on ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2 prep.

Cons

The culture is deeply toxic. From day one, I felt like I was hired more for how I looked than for my actual skills — and as a woman, I was constantly treated differently. The CEO creates a culture of fear and micromanagement, and as others have said, has a long-standing habit of inappropriate, harassing behavior. It's no surprise the positive reviews seem manufactured — many of us were pressured to leave them, or felt we'd face retaliation if we didn’t. Constructive feedback isn’t welcome, and underhanded techniques are not just tolerated, they’re encouraged. The environment rewards staying silent and playing along rather than integrity or hard work. I still don’t understand how some people stay here — maybe they’ve become numb to it, or they’re too afraid to leave. I left for a competitor where I’m treated with respect, and it's night and day. I wouldn’t recommend RISCPoint to anyone, especially women or anyone who values a healthy work environment.

Pros

Remote work, but you’re being watched

Cons

Leadership will text you at night or on weekends telling you what you did wrong. The CEO is condescending and has an immature leadership style. Instead of trying to help, you’re berated and you rarely feel “safe” being employed there. If you’re not generating revenue for the firm, you’re ignored. There’s very little diversity in the company. The CEO will talk poorly about you behind your back and to clients.
