Pros

Diverse team. Cooperative coworkers. Remote work helped me save time Ont not commuting. Gave decent health and dental benefits.

Cons

Payment was horrible compared to the work we were doing. Whenever I got a raise, it was a pathetically low increase. Work material was long and repetitive. We would go some months of having exceptionally large workloads and barely meeting deadlines. A lot of our work material was quite subjective and could be interpreted several different ways at time and yet we judged or rewarded depending on how we interpreted the work given to us. As if it we were taking exams. Not to mention we had a toxic bully of a QA Coordinator for years that micromanaged, watched us like a hawk, didn’t welcome new ideas or inputs, and sometimes made distasteful comments towards individuals on our team. He embarrassed each of us on several occasions and it took RELI forever to get rid of him. Communication was also awful. When I moved into a Hubzone, I wasn’t even notified that I qualified for additional HUBZONE pay. I found out by accident and notified them. Emails with HR and the Recruitment teams sometimes went unanswered, like when I sent referrals or applied for a higher position.

Pros

Wanted to get this out sooner, hope to shed some light. here you end up as a consultant to the federal government with barely any growth. A good place do little work and cash in government check $, and it has 8a status, major financial investment in strong advertising and relationships, but yea its a empty gong. Put that investment and money into your employees not advertising and marketing. While I saw a glimmer of hope in the previous, it didn't last, went back to being a poor experience of working at a company that constantly loses or drives its top talent away. In the end it was a hollow shell, with massive overhead power hungry folk. Its also mostly marketing focused, with an oversized marketing and proposal team that was misguided by poor leadership and ownership.

Cons

The few hard workers for change bore the brunt of the blame and pressure and some left, the clever ones maintain the status quo simply coast by without facing any consequences. This resulted in the organization falling behind in terms of growth and competitiveness. The government clients in the end had to bear the cost of this lack of progress. Quality of work delivered was also affected by this, several common issues among missed deadlines, lack of attention to detail, and subpar final product. I would recommend any potential employees to be cautious before joining this type of organization where there is a lack of accountability and fairness.
