The company does not care at all about client care and they make that very clear. You are forced to forsake the quality of care in order to get as many clients in the door as possible. Groups are either over populated or there is only 1 person. Upper management did not care in the slightest and don’t even bother to communicate with program staff citing “chain of command”. When we were finally able to voice our concerns we were dismissed immediately. When fears were presented about clients being placed in the WRONG level of care and suicidal ideation among clients increasing upper management said “if they fail in IOP then we can move them” …if they fail they die.
That’s just the way they treat clients, and I promise staff are not treated any better. You get no holidays off except Xmas and thanksgiving and start with no PTO or sick time. Not to mention, the way upper mgmt consistently disrespects and disregards staff regularly and make it’s next to impossible to approach them, even when they are in the same building.
I honestly have an abundance of terrible things to say about this company and I was literally 1 of 7 people to quit during my 6 months there, but if none of the above stops you, good luck.
