Pros

The management is very engaged and mentors their newer hires. The campus in Westminster, CO is very nice and well-maintained. The work culture is not a grindhouse.

Cons

Need a lot of training in the domain (Agriculture, Construction, Water Conservation) to be effective.

Pros

Trimble is a smaller company, especially within their Embedded Software Division, so its easy to get to know everyone within your group, and everyone has a chance to participate during company meetings. Its a welcoming environment to learn from, especially as your first internship.

Cons

Trimble has relatively few software interns, so there is some getting used to within a formal work environment. However, its a great place to pick up valuable workplace skills for junior software engineers.

Pros

Nice co-workers and managers. They are always helpful.

Cons

Insufficient onboarding process. Things like provisioning laptop and access to codebase can take a long time.
