Cons
New employees don't always get a brand new laptop (which is fine), but whatever laptop you get, you keep for 4 years, and unless it dies, or you wish to switch from Win to Mac or the other way around, you cannot get a new one.
The salaries compared to other big companies are average, at best, leaving alot to be desired.
There is no yearly salary increase and no proper procedure for requests, meaning if you don't request a raise, you are very likely never to get one.
Bonuses are a hit-and-miss kind of situation: the rules are unclear and the result is unpredictable, even though it should have been.
A vast majority of the code is very old and no one dares to modify, and some of it is like "magic" that is so complex to understand, passing different projects and different things that it can sometimes be extremely frustrating to handle.
There is no Mentorship program that will get a developer from good to excellent.
Even though the company went through IPO and you can feel the Corporate spirit getting a hold, with more procedures and proper bureaucracy , there is still a lot of politics that can make a person feel less comfortable.
