Our onsite restaurant is committed to ensuring our in-person teams have access to top notch meals - because we know the value of a good meal. Our 20/20 Grille team also provides incredible meals and kits that can be ordered for special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Valentine’s Day. What you may not know is how involved our restaurant is with giving back to our community. Their efforts include delivering bi-weekly meals to Encircle homes so LGBTQIA+ youth can experience support through a warm meal, overseeing a donation drive this past winter for the Utah Food Bank, and sending meals to the YWCA. Last month, their efforts included delivering gourmet holiday trimmings to our friends at Encircle and at the Ronald McDonald House to help make the holidays a little brighter for those experiencing a difficult time in their lives. This holiday season, Contacts Gives Back (1-800 Contacts charitable giving program) participated with Project Elf, a program sponsored by The Christmas Box International to help fill Santa's sleigh. All donations go directly to children, teens, and young adults who have been abused, neglected, or face homelessness. Our big-hearted associates jumped at the opportunity to get involved, and together, we were able to donate toys and gift cards for over 200 kids and teens this holiday season. Have we said how amazing and big-hearted our people are? (Well, we’ll keep saying it because it’s true.) Last week, our Utah associates helped us load 200 cases – roughly 4,000 pounds of food – that went directly to the Utah Food Bank. To keep things fun (and efficient), our Executive Chef, Tom Call, organized an assembly line that allowed our team to move and load boxes quickly. Our associates even made individual donations which allowed our kitchen staff to order an additional 50 cases of goods for this cause. On Wednesday in honor of suicide prevention awareness, our Charlotte, Dallas, Draper, and Salt Lake associates wore yellow to show their support. It was inspiring seeing our physical and virtual workspaces flooded with this supportive color. Our DC locations released balloons, and earlier this week, our 20/20 Grille mailed care packages with educational and crisis resources to all of our associates.
