Ending #hunger starts with a meal. Recently, CNG partnered with Rise Against Hunger to join the global movement against hunger while living our purpose of #EnhancingLives. In just 1.5 hours, we packed an astonishing 30,240 meals and 140 boxes of freeze-dried goods! With one box feeding a child for an entire school year and one bag feeding up to seven people, we are so proud to contribute in the fight to end hunger and connect communities across the world. #WeAreCNG #ItStartsWithAMeal

It’s our pleasure to introduce you to Andrew Huber an incredible Process Technician at Charter Next Generation - Rhinelander! Andrew has been with us for 20 wonderful years now and has been sharing his wealth of knowledge and positivity every step of the way. After serving five years in the military, Andrew moved back home to be closer to his family. He drove around Rhinelander unsure of what was in store when he came across CNG and before he knew it, he started on the floor learning the ins and outs of each machine. His colleagues admire his optimistic mindset, contagious smile, and selflessness, noting that he’ll lend a helping hand wherever, whenever - even if that means sticking around during a long job change! Andrew’s motivation stems from his desire to teach new teammates, his experience empowers him to show them the ropes and answer any questions they have. Andrew is most proud of the friends he’s made during his 20-year career with us, whether they worked together for a short time or a while, he’s happy to be a part of their journey — and we are beyond grateful that Andrew has been a part of ours! Meet Amy Ivy! Amy has been with Charter Next Generation for two years now as the Product Safety Manager for all four of our state-of-the-art Ohio locations. Prior to her role at CNG, Amy held an impressive 20-year career in Law Enforcement, but she was seeking something totally different. Despite being nervous about the unknown, she took a leap of faith and started her manufacturing career in product safety. Her director, Laurie Ford, shares that Amy was extremely curious, yet through asking questions and studying nearly every document CNG had, she was able to dive into a system she knew nothing about and immediately make a difference, which was huge for the team. Amy’s leadership and adaptability have continued to positively impact our plants, most recently facilitating a major transition from SQF to BRCGS standards in Massillon. Amy loves identifying areas for improvement and bringing people together to get the job done. She still utilizes her Law Enforcement experience to ensure attention to detail in everything she does, and we’re so lucky to have her expertise.
